How do I connect the domain to Wix, Shopify, Google, or other platforms via CloudDNS?

To connect the domain to external platforms such as Wix, Shopify, or Google via CloudDNS, you need to first ensure that the domain uses the dedicated CloudDNS nameservers.
Once these are set, access the CloudDNS interface from your Hostico account.
On the right side of the screen, you will find a window with general information about the active DNS settings for the domain, and from the action menu, you can select the platform you wish to connect.
The system will automatically create the necessary records for the domain to work correctly with that platform, including records of type A, CNAME, MX, or TXT.
If the external platform offers custom instructions, these can be entered manually using the record addition option.

Changes will become active after DNS propagation, which can take between a few minutes and 24 hours, and to avoid potential errors, you must ensure that the new records do not conflict with existing ones.

I already have a domain at Hostico, how do I activate CloudDNS?

If you already own a domain at Hostico and wish to activate CloudDNS, you must first log into your client account.
After logging in, go to the Domains section in the left-hand menu and identify the domain for which you want to activate the service.
From the Actions menu associated with the domain, select the CloudDNS option.
In order for the CloudDNS service to become functional, it is necessary to change the domain's nameservers to the dedicated CloudDNS ones, namely nsa.hostico.ro, nsb.hostico.ro, nsc.hostico.ro and nsd.hostico.ro.
In the new interface, all active DNS records for the domain will be displayed, and from here you can add or modify A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, or SPF records.
All changes will become active after DNS propagation, a process that may take from a few minutes to 24 hours.

It is important to note that any incorrect setting may affect the operation of the website or email, and if you are unsure about the changes made, it is recommended to contact the Hostico support team.

What are the nameservers used for Cloud DNS?

In the context of the new Cloud DNS functionality offered by Hostico, the nameservers used for domain associations differ from the standard ones used for Shared hosting packages.


The nameservers related to Cloud DNS are:
