Introduction

This tutorial explains how to configure the Apache SpamAssassin mail filter in the cPanel account.

Requirements

  • a cPanel account

Steps to Follow

  • after logging into the cPanel control panel, in the interface that will be displayed, we look for the "EMAIL ADDRESS" section, and there we click on "Apache SpamAssassin"

Apache Spam Assassin

  • in the next window inside the box, the spam filter score (aggressiveness) will be set where 10 means most permissive and 1 means most aggressive.

Setare filtru agresivitate

  • after selecting the desired score, click the "Auto-delete spam" button

Stergere automata spam

  • To disable the filter, click on the "Disable automatic spam deletion" button
