How can I open a port on my hosting package?

For security reasons, all ports other than those used by the server services (mail, web, dns, etc.) are closed. These rules apply to both shared hosting packages and VPS managed (with Hostico administration).
If you wish to open a port, you will need to contact the technical department and provide the following information:
- the port you wish to open.
- the direction in which you want to open the port (IN or OUT).
- the IP from which the connection to the port will be made (in the case of ports with IN direction).
- the service for which you want to open this port.
The technical department will analyze your request and will return with a response regarding the possibility of opening the port.
