My domain has expired. How do I recover it?
Recovering an expired domain may involve several steps. Learn now all the information regarding the reactivation of expired domains.
According to the Domain Terms page, it may be necessary to pay an additional fee to recover the domain. If the payment of this fee is not desired, another option would be to wait for the domain's deletion and then re-register it later. However, it is strictly the duty of the domain holder to monitor the status of the domain and to request it at the moment of its deletion.
Failure to pay the fee for domain recovery is however inadvisable, as in many cases gTLD domains (.com, .net, .org) are automatically acquired by other companies and put back up for sale at higher rates.
