Can .RO domains with diacritics be registered?

If the desired .RO domain name contains diacritics, it can be registered using one of the two available forms:
- IDN (Internationalized Domain Name) format: This represents the accented version of the domain, such as bucurești.ro. To convert a domain name with diacritics to IDN format, you can use the IDN conversion tool.
- ACE Format (ASCII Compatible Encoding): This is the encoded version of the domain, used to be compatible with DNS systems that do not support special characters. For example, bucurești.ro will be represented as xn--bucureti-m9c.ro.
It is important to note that the two forms, IDN and ACE, are equivalent and refer to the same domain. However, the ACE form is used internally by DNS systems.
