How can I check if my local IP is listed in any blacklist?
Check if your local IP is listed in blacklists and how to request delisting. Follow the simple steps to improve your email deliverability.
There may be situations where the local IP of the device from which you are sending emails is listed in one or more blacklists. These listings can affect the sending of emails from that device and can cause emails to land in the Spam folder or be completely rejected.
For delisting, you can follow the steps below.
- Access /ip/ from the device that has issues sending emails. Copy the displayed IP.
- Access the page https://iblacklist.ro, fill in the Check IP field with the IP above and click the Check IP button.
- A blacklist list will appear where your IP is listed. You can access those sites and request delisting of the IP. Details are displayed by clicking on the blacklist.
- Alternatively, if you notice that your IP is listed, you can request your internet service provider to allocate you a different clean IP.
Note:
This tutorial refers to your local IP address, the one allocated by your internet provider, not by Hostico.
The IPs allocated by Hostico on hosting are checked daily in blacklists and are delisted by us. Hostico cannot influence the IPs allocated by your internet service provider.
